Scott (he/they/them) is a genderfluid settler on Treaty 7 territories. Scott is Director of Communications and Senior Advisor to the President at UFCW Local 401. Prior to that, Scott was the Southern Alberta Director for the NDP Government Caucus under Premier Rachel Notley. Scott has spent the past 25 years working to make the world a more just, equitable, and inclusive place for all people. In addition to being a dedicated social, labour, and environmental activist, Scott is committed to promoting the value of the arts in everyday life. Scott is an avid community theatre actor, amateur musician, and budding playwright. Scott believes that everyone should have every opportunity to lead a full and rewarding life, and works to enable those opportunities as widely and as accessibly as possible.
