Val is the founder and Executive Artistic Director of Fire Exit Theatre who is in it’s 24th season of Telling Stories That Matter in Calgary. She has a BA in Theatre and Speech from Trinity Guild (UK) and has worked in the church and the theatre world for over 25 years. Val is a playwright, speaker, educator, performer and Chaplain to the arts community. She loves both strong coffee and conversation. Val has a shared Schnoodle named Reuben and a 97 year old mom.
